A ninja in time is about a ninja who had his time machine stolen from another ninja. It was made in one week during Brackeys game jam 2020.2 with the theme "Rewind". It was well received from the people who played it.

Process
At this time I was not comfortable with making 3D games so I opted for making a 2D sidescroller where you play the same level twice but in different times. First the spikes are harmless because they are covered with vines but when you go back in time they are like new and will hurt you.
Since I do not know how to draw or make characters in pixel art I took photos of myself in a stop motion like fashion to make the animations for the character. I took inspiration from old games like Mortal Kombat who used a similar method. I then made the level with pixel art environments. It was fun but very challenging to make a game in a week.
